COMPETITION RULES FOR DREAM CUP POREČ:
1. Tournament is held for categories U9, U11 and U13.
2. The right to participate have boys and girls born 2011. and younger (category U13), 2013. and younger (category U11) and boys and girls born 2015. and younger (category U9).
3. At the tournament in all age groups a minimum of 8 and maximum 32 teams compete and they are divided into 4 groups (in the case of a larger number of entries, the number of teams in the groups will be increased).
4. Each club can register unlimited number of players.
5. Each player must have a sports or ID card through which players are identified, and the club is obligated to show them for a review if organizer, representative or trainer is asking.
6. Teams are allowed to play in the tournament with players from another club with a valid sports card (up to 3 players).
7. The player who played for one team in the tournament can not play for another team.
8. Before the first game, teams coach or representative must provide a list of the players and players numbers and the club is not allowed to change it until the end of the tournament.
9. For each team during a game in the field can play eight players and goalkeeper in the category U11 (8 + 1) and six players and goalkeeper in the category U9 (6 + 1). Category U13 plays 11vs11 players.
10. Matches are played on a half court (propositions of the court for categories U9 and U11), at the big field for U13 category, and by the rules of football. Flying substitutions are made in all categories, and the referee is not stopping the game because of the substitution.
11. All fixtures kick-off at a time that is scheduled in the competition schedule, any delay and waiting will not be tolerated. The team that doesn't appear on the field loses the game 3: 0. If neither team appears on the field to both teams shall be deducted one point. Commission of the tournament may due valid reasons change a schedule with the consent of the opponent of team that is running late.
12. In U9 and U11 categories group matches, quarter-final match and the match in the consolation part of the tournament will be played 25 minutes without stopping time and extended-time matches decided by a referee. In U13 category group matches, quarter-final match and the match in the consolation part of the tournament will be played 1 x 40 minutes, extended-time is decided by the referee.
13. In U9 and U11 categories semifinal , final games and placement games will be played 25 minutes without stopping time and extended-time matches decided by a referee. In U13 category semifinal , final games (for 3rd place and final) will be played 1 x 40 minutes, extended-time is decided by the referee.
14. In the next round (quarterfinals) are placed the first two teams in the group (possible changes depend on the number of entries).
15. In the consolation part of the tournament games for the placement will be played.
16. The criteria for determining placement in the groups:
• ranking
• meeting between teams in group
• goal difference
• higher number of scored goals
• if 3 teams have the same point number and team difference a new standing will be made, that includes only these 3 teams
• result, goal difference, number of goals scored or number of goals conceded in a game versus 1st or last placed team in the group (if 3 teams are completely equal)
• draw
17. Last criteria is the draw, held by tournament director, with 2 members of each team and one of the members of the tournament Committee. First or first two drawn teams are passing into next round.
18. If a match for the placement ends without a winner, teams will shoot penalties, from 11m for category U13, 9m for category U11 and from 7m for category U9, by three players from each team for categories U9 and U11 or five players for U13 category. If the result is a draw after 5 penalties taken by each team, one player of each team will shoot all the time, unitil the final resolution of the winner (a player that already took a penalty in a regular shootout can be a shooter again). In U13 category, if the result is a draw after 5 series of penalties, one penalty can be taken by all players that finished the game.
19. Referee does not give yellow or red cards, but may request the coach to change players due to unfair play or behavior, and the same player is not allowed to return in the game until the end of the match but can play the next game. The rule applies for U9 and U11 categories. In U13 category the referee is allowed to give cards.
20. All complaints related to the match must be reported immediately after the match.
21. In case two or more players score the same number of goals, top scorer is the player who has appeared in smaller number of matches, the next criteria is the number of goals scored in the final phase of the tournament.
22. Tournament committee decides the best goalkeeper, best player and best coach of the tournament.
23. In case of occurrence of the event that is not prescribed by this proposition, tournament committee is authorized to adopt the interpretation that will be regarded as complementary propositions.
24. Committee of the tournament will be announced before the start of tournament.
25. Tournament organizer is not responsible in case of players injury, lost or stolen property.
26. In case of language disagreement regarding the game rules, the Croatian language will prevail.
27. By registering a team for the tournament, the club accepts the tournament rules.
